As a Remodeling Carpenter at Sunset Builders & Maintenance, you will play a crucial role in construction and remodeling projects while ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship and safety. We are looking for candidates who can read a tape measure, possess their own vehicle, and license, and have a basic set of hand tools. The ideal candidate is physically capable of carrying heavy loads (60+ lbs.), comfortable working on ladders and scaffolding, and committed to investing in personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities:

• Perform various carpentry tasks, including framing, installing doors and windows, finishing work, and general construction duties.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to execute projects accurately.
• Utilize hand and power tools to complete carpentry tasks efficiently and with precision.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with the construction team to ensure projects are completed within deadlines and meet quality standards.
• Maintain and care for tools and equipment to ensure their longevity and functionality.
• Continuously seek opportunities for skill improvement and personal development.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in carpentry or related construction fields.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately and interpret technical drawings.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for transportation.
• Must have basic hand tools and be willing to provide your own set for the job.
• Physical capability to lift and carry heavy objects (60+ lbs.) as required for carpentry work.
• Comfortable working on ladders and scaffolding at various heights.
• Strong work ethic, dedication, and commitment to building a long-term career in carpentry.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
